Our GST and compliance approach
AYBN ERP provides tools and integrations that support GST-related business processes. Businesses remain responsible for maintaining accurate information and meeting their applicable statutory obligations.
In short
GST in AYBN ERP is built from the same orders, deliveries, invoices and payments your team already records, so tax data does not have to be rebuilt each month. The software calculates and reports; your business, with its tax adviser, decides and files.
GST on every transaction
Place of supply on each invoice
Each invoice stores its place of supply and splits tax into CGST and SGST or IGST accordingly. Posted invoices keep their treatment.
Invoice books with GST classification
Document series carry their GST classification, such as B2B, B2C or export, which the reports follow.
Returns and notes
Sales returns, purchase returns, credit notes and debit notes adjust tax through their own documents.
TDS and TCS
TDS and TCS sections, statutory payments and their reports.
What each transaction records
Party GSTIN and state
From the customer or supplier account.
HSN or SAC per item
With the unit and UQC used in GST reports.
Rate and tax components
CGST, SGST, IGST and cess, kept on the document as calculated at the time.
IRN and e-Way Bill details
Saved on the invoice when generated.
Reports built from your books
GSTR-1 with JSON export
Prepare GSTR-1 and download it in the GST portal’s offline-utility format, then upload it on the portal yourself.
GSTR-3B and supporting reports
GSTR-3B, B2B, B2C, credit and debit notes, exports, HSN summary, rate-wise and GSTIN-wise reports.
ITC management
Eligibility, IMS, Rule 42 and 43 reversals, reclaims and 180-day tracking.
GSTR-2A/2B reconciliation
Download the JSON or CSV from the GST portal and upload it to match it against your purchases.
Through a GST Suvidha Provider
e-Invoice and e-Way Bill are provider-dependent: they run through the White Books GSP using your own GSP credentials.
Generate and cancel
Generate the e-Invoice from a sales invoice, then the e-Way Bill, and cancel either when needed. The IRN is issued by the government e-Invoice system, not by AYBN.
Permission-controlled
Only users with the right to create sales invoices can generate; only those with the right to cancel invoices can cancel.
Registers and status
e-Invoice and e-Way Bill registers show what was generated, cancelled or failed.
Set up once, applied everywhere
Tax groups and components
Define rates and their components, including cess.
Statutory settings and ledger mappings
Choose which ledgers GST, TDS and TCS post to.
Party statutory profiles
Record each party’s TDS or TCS treatment once.
Compliance features that are coming
These are on the product roadmap. They are not available yet.
- Upcoming
GST return filing through an authorised provider
Review, approve and file returns through an authorised GST filing provider, from the same books. Until then, you upload the exported JSON on the GST portal yourself.
- Upcoming
Compliance workbench
Document checks, TDS and TCS threshold checks, due-date reminders and exception reports.
Software capability and your responsibility
AYBN is software, not a tax adviser. These are the two sides.
Calculates tax from the rates, HSN codes, place of supply and party details you set up.
Sets up correct rates, HSN codes and party GSTINs, and checks unusual transactions with a tax adviser.
Prepares GSTR-1 data, GSTR-3B and supporting reports from your books.
Reviews the figures, files returns on time and pays the tax due.
Sends the invoice data through your GSP account and saves the result.
Holds a GSP account, keeps credentials current, and generates documents within the required time.
Tracks eligibility, reversals and reconciliation against the GSTR-2B you upload.
Decides which credit to claim, under the law that applies to your business.
Updates the software as the product evolves; changes are listed on the product updates page.
Follows GST notifications and applies changes that affect your business.
