Delivery challans

Record goods delivered to a customer, against an order or on their own.

Before you start

  • Make sure the items are in stock in the store you deliver from.

Create a delivery challan

  1. Open Challans and choose to create one.
  2. Select the customer and enter the date and delivery details.
  3. Link the sales order if this delivery fulfils one.
  4. Add the items, quantities, store and batch where needed.
  5. Save.

Result: Stock goes down, and the linked order’s delivered quantities update.

Cancel a challan

  1. Open the challan and choose cancel.
  2. Confirm, then check the linked order’s pending quantities.

Result: The stock effect is reversed and the challan stays on record as cancelled.
